Living Sustainably on a Tight Budget: 10 Simple Hacks

Save money while helping the planet—here’s how!

We as human beings all have an impact on the environment we live in. According to WWF, we are using the equivalent of 1.5 Earths to produce all the renewable resources we use. An increasing number of people are becoming more conscious of the ecological issues the world is facing, and would like to do something about it. However it can feel overwhelming. There seems to be so many problems and so little time, and we might be left thinking that whatever small step we take to reduce our carbon footprint, it won’t even scratch the surface. And even if we decide to do our part as much as we can, living sustainably on a budget can be challenging as we often have to pay a higher price when buying products labelled as ‘eco-friendly’.

But there are ways you can live a more sustainable life without overspending. In this post we will list our top ten simple sustainability hacks you can all implement to save money and protect the environment.
